Haunted Mansion Parlor

The Haunted Mansion Parlor is open to families (and includes a great list of mocktails for younger sailors) until early evening when it becomes 18+ only. The space is filled with items directly related to the ride and also introduces some new spooky decor.

Cask & Cannon

Cask and Cannon was a Pirates of the Caribbean themed lounge that children could also visit earlier in the day. The 2026 World Cup started during our sailing, so it was a very popular spot for guests who wanted to watch the matches live. The lounge was located in slightly hidden corner near the second floor of the Saga entertainment venue, so it would be easy to miss for guests who didn’t often walk past the area.

De Vil’s Piano Lounge

De Vil’s is a very small piano bar, themed for 101 Dalmatians. The lounge was open to adults only in the evening with special times set aside for “Treble-Making with Cruella.” The show we attended was hosted by Zayah and Gamble, who are introduced at the beginning of the sailing as the resident storytellers. We arrived for the first show of the evening and the small space filled quickly.

The Sanctum

Unlike DeVil’s and The Haunted Mansion Parlor, The Sanctum is an open space on Deck 4. During the day it hosts family activities while in the evening it caters to adults, with live music and specialty drinks. The Dr. Strange mystical arts theming also isn’t as intricate as the closed lounges, but provides enough film props and potion-style cocktails to be on-brand.

Like other ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, rotational dining offers families a chance to experience each of the three table-service dining locations at least one time. Dinner our first night was at 1923, the more upscale of the three restaurants, with Disney movie memorabilia filled cases around the dining room.

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King is themed both in the musical and storytelling performance and in the style of cuisine offered on the menu. I paired the vegetarian Baked Mushroom and Lentil Bobatie with the three African wine samples and it was my favorite meal of the trip.

Our first time dining in Worlds of Marvel was on the Disney Wish in April of 2025. While the menu was similar and the venue was identical, the themed experience on the Destiny was much less interactive with no character visit. Instead, there was a trivia game hosted on-screen by Groot and Rocket.

Disney Cruise Line Rotational Dining: Know Before You Go

• Smaller parties may be combined to sit at the same table or in close proximity to another. Requests for single families can be made when checking in online, but won’t be guaranteed. We’ve shared tables and it’s been a great way to learn about can’t miss experiences on the ship from different perspectives.
• Each table is assigned a main server and an assistant server that will travel with you to each restaurant in your rotation.
• Wine packages are available starting with a 3-bottle selection. The wine will also be available at other meals or you can take it to your stateroom if you open a bottle and don’t finish it at a meal.

Perhaps not by coincidence on this adult-friendly ship, the number of specialty cafes on the Destiny nearly matches the number of lounge-style bars (and it combines the concepts with spiked coffee versions offered at many of them.) While “free” regular and decaf coffee is available on Deck 11 and with meals, specialty coffee drinks are only available at an extra cost.

Tip: Cafes offer a punch card that gets you one free coffee for every five you purchase. 

Cove Cafe on deck 13, near the Quiet Cove, is a bit of a hike from lower floor staterooms. Megaras (named and themed for the fantastic and underrated heroine from Hercules) and Meridas were great spots on Decks 4 and 5, closer to our room on Deck 6.

Outside of rotational dining dinners there were many spots to dine on the Destiny. Hours varied at each space for breakfast and lunch, and the Navigator App was helpful in finding where to go when we were hungry. The two main spaces for breakfast and lunch were 1923 (table service) and Marceline Market (buffet-style). Lunch opened after 11am at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. Room service was available 24 hours.

There are two options for adults to dine kid-free on the Disney Destiny: Enchanté and Palo Steakhouse. Both are an additional costs and require reservations that can fill up, especially for the poplar Enchanté brunches. We didn’t book a reservation on this trip, but did dine at Enchanté on the Wish.
