Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest of the Moderate WDW resorts, and the size is the biggest benefit. Bus transportation only includes one stop, so getting to the parks can be a much shorter trip. The pool is slightly smaller than the other moderate resorts, but it is the perfect option for families with young children.
With a non-park day or some downtime, the larger adjacent Port Orleans Riverside offers table service dining, an additional pool, gift shop, and boat transportation to Disney Springs

The lobby area is much smaller than other resorts, but the French Quarter theming is fun and bright. There is no large table service restaurant, but Scat Cat’s Club Lounge provides cocktails, appetizers and live music, while the cafe is a favorite destination for even non-resort guests to get beignets.
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a convenient quick service option for NOLA-inspired dishes.

Port Orleans French Quarter Rooms
The resorts’ rooms are basic but functional. With fewer people at the resort, it never felt crowded was quiet at night. None of the sections felt too far from the lobby or the parking lots.
