Port Orleans French Quarter

Step 1: Book a Resort & Tickets

We started by looking at room prices for the trip; because we decided on a three-day park hopper instead of on day in each of the four parks it made more sense to spend less on a room, since we would be spending most of our time in the parks. Our favorite moderate resort for easy transportation is Port Orleans French Quarter, so we booked it for our three-night stay. We knew we were staying a fourth night, but we waited to see if more availability popped up to decide where to stay.

Step 2: Choose our park reservations.

Our first priority was riding the new rides and testing Genie+, so we decided on:
·  Saturday: Start at Hollywood Studios in the hope of getting Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance.
* Sunday: Visit Magic Kingdom and try to use as many Genie+ Lightning Lanes as possible
* Monday: Start at Animal Kingdom, then jump to do anything we hadn’t yet.

Trail’s End Restaurant at Fort Wilderness Resort

When we arrived we booked a last minute reservation for Trail’s End Restaurant. After parking in the main parking lot of the Wildness Resort and Campground, we had to hop a shuttle bus to reach the dining area.
